Why "Carapace" ?
Centre Carapace aims to support you in the process of construction ou reconstruction de vos valeurs intrinsèques. Cela commence par :
- Learning to accept your inner world as it is.
- Finding harmony with the surrounding society.
- Feeling integrated into the external world without feeling pressured to conform to imposed uniformity.
A creative and compassionate approach
In a supportive environment, the creative approach offers a unique way to express what may be difficult to articulate in words. The creations produced become a third entity in the therapeutic process : a metaphorical space where emotions take form, reveal themselves, and find meaning.
Throughout this journey, your creativity — and the relationship we build together — will be a valuable support for your well-being.
I look forward to sharing these experiences with you and helping you find deeper balance.

Masumi Mizoguchi
I am of Japanese origin and have lived in Switzerland for 30 years. I speak fluent Japanese, English, and French.
I began my career in the banking information systems industry, but my life took a decisive turn after the birth of my first son. He didn’t speak a word until the age of 4 and was diagnosed with autism. Refusing to resign myself to this diagnosis, I undertook extensive research to find approaches and mediums that could help him. To me, he was a perfectly normal child. Three years later, at age 7, the diagnosis was officially dismissed.
With the help of various specialists, I discovered that music could be a powerful tool to support my son. His progress in speech was remarkable, enabling me to enroll him in a public elementary school at age 5. Today, he holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Fribourg.
This personal experience deeply impacted me and led me to change my career path. I earned a postgraduate diploma in art therapy, a growing field that offers a gentle and effective alternative to more traditional therapies such as psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.
Art therapy stands out for its ability to explore your inner world without intrusion or direct confrontation. It is often suited for those who face emotional challenges but struggle to verbalize their feelings. Through this creative process, my clients discover unexpected aspects of themselves, which are visible and tangible, greatly facilitating the achievement of harmony.
